German football legend Franz Beckenbauer passed away.

The well-known football specialist died at the age of 78. Beckenbaur won world championship titles with the German national team both as a player and as a coach. He achieved this success in WC-1974 and WC-1990 tournaments, respectively.
It should be noted that Beckenbauer won the "Golden ball" award twice (1972, 1976).
