Denis Bouanga, a Gabonese football player of Los Angeles, is second, and Hungarian Barnabas Varga, who played for Paksy and Ferensvaros, is third. Both of them have 4 such matches.
Two more players scored at least three goals in 4 games during the year. Erling Haaland (Norway, Manchester City) and Karim Benzema (France, "Real") were excluded from the "three" due to additional indicators.
