La Liga has updated the squad cost limits for its clubs for the 2026/27 season.
İdman.Biz reports, citing Marca, that the figures represent the maximum amount each club is permitted to spend on its squad, taking into account revenues, expenses and debt obligations.
According to the updated figures, Barcelona's limit has increased significantly from €432 million to €582.769 million. Despite the rise, the Catalan club remain well behind Real Madrid in terms of permitted squad expenditure.
Real Madrid's limit has risen from €761 million to €832.786 million, setting a new La Liga record.
Atletico Madrid are third with a limit of €361.287 million, followed by Villarreal (€170.564 million) and Real Betis (€142.847 million).
Among the clubs with the lowest limits are Malaga and Sevilla, who are permitted to spend €33.634 million and €20.161 million respectively.
