Manchester United have appointed a new head coach for their women’s football team.
İdman.Biz reports that 40-year-old Spanish coach Eva Olid will take charge of the team.
Olid has signed a contract with Manchester United until the summer of 2028, with an option to extend the deal for a further year.
The Spaniard succeeds Marc Skinner, who had been in charge since 2021 and left the club on 3 August. Under Skinner, Manchester United reached four domestic cup finals in four seasons and won the first major women’s football trophy in the club’s history.
Olid most recently managed Scottish side Hearts, leading the Edinburgh club to their first-ever Scottish Women’s Premier League title.
