Idman.biz reports that Rustam Najafov, chairman of the Shahdag Tourism Center, told reporters after the opening of the Heydar Aliyev Cup among amateur skiers.
He said that this competition was held for the second time: "This week there will be a competition on mountain skiing. In the following weeks, there will be a competition snowboarding and among children. One of our goals is to promote the Shahdag Tourism Center and increase the interest of people in winter sports."
