The World Weightlifting Cup continues in Phuket, Thailand.
Idman.biz reports that in the last license tournament for the Paris-2024 Summer Olympic Games, another athlete of the Azerbaijan national team - Omer Javadov - climbed the ladder.
He competed in group C of the 73 kg weight class. Javadov showed a total of 328 kg (153+175). Omar's place in the final standings will be determined after the performances in the upper groups are over.
It should be noted that 466 (235+231) athletes from 121 countries are competing in the competition, which will end on April 11.
