The Azerbaijan women’s national volleyball team will play its final matches of the 2025 European Golden League season on June 13–14.
The competition will take place in Zadar, Croatia, Idman.biz reports.
Faig Garayev’s team will face the host nation on June 13 and Romania the following day.
Azerbaijan has a positive head-to-head record against Croatia. The two sides have met six times in official competitions, with Azerbaijan winning five of those matches. The most recent victory came in last year’s European Golden League with a score of 3–0.
As for the encounters with Romania, the head-to-head record stands at 3–3 after six official matches. However, Romania has won the last three meetings, including their clash in last year’s European Golden League.
