On September 3, 2023, the Azerbaijan Triathlon Championship will be organized in the Kura Olympic Training and Sports Center located in the city of Mingachevir, organized by the Azerbaijan Triathlon Federation, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, with the support of Baku City Circuit.
The competition will be held in both Olympic distance and Supersprint between different age groups, Idman.biz reports. During the race, participants have to swim a kilometer and a half, then cycle 40 km and run 10 kilometers in the final part.
It should be noted that the triathlon national championship was held for the first time last year, and its winner was two-time Olympian Rostislav Pevtsov.
