Among the taekwondo athletes from "Irevan," Darya Huseynova (27 kg) and Aydan Huseynova (33 kg) won gold medals in the juniors category, while Khazar Salahli (53 kg) received a bronze medal in the cadets category.
The gold medal-winning sisters, Darya and Aydan Huseynova, are the children of Elbrus Huseynov, a heroic martyr of the 44-day Patriotic War and a participant in the battles for Jabrayil. Last year, Darya became the European champion in the 24 kg category at the juniors European Championship held in Tirana, Albania, proudly raising Azerbaijan’s flag.
