Azerbaijani taekwondo athlete Gashim Magomedov (58 kg) has encountered a health setback.
The Paris 2024 Olympic silver medalist confirmed the news himself, Idman.biz reports.
Magomedov revealed that he underwent successful surgery on his collarbone just a day ago:
“I’m feeling well now. I’ll continue my treatment at home starting today.”
The promising taekwondo fighter also expressed confidence in a quick recovery, stating that he plans to return to the mat very soon.
