The winners of another category of the World Shooting Championship organized in Baku have been determined.
According to İdman.biz, men and women tested their strength in pistol shooting at a distance of 50 meters.
China’s Yu Xie won the gold medal in men’s competition with 558 points. Latvian representative LaurisStrautmanis, who was 1 point behind him, was happy with the silver medal. India’s Ravinder Singh won the bronze prize with 556 points. In the team competition, China took the first place, South Korea took the second, and India took the third place.
Austrian shooter Silvia Steiner, who scored 540 points in the women’s competition, was unavailable. Mongolian BayartsetsegTumurchudur, who was 6 points behind her, won the silver medal. Indian representative TiyanaTiyana (533 points) won the bronze award. In the team competition, India, China and Mongolia were ranked in the first "three" respectively.
It should be noted that the 53rd World Shooting Championship held in Baku since 2018 is the most massive sporting event held in this competition in the world. Up to 2000 athletes and representatives from more than 100 countries of the world participate in the competition.
