The athlete, who has the highest rating in this category for 2023, admitted that the final was difficult: "I was fine, just like in the finals. As you can see, the medal is around my neck. We had a very good competition with the representative of Ukraine Olena Kostevych. She was able to take the lead during the final. It was no accident. Olena is a very strong athlete who won Olympic medals. At the end I concentrated and beat her with a few accurate shots."
The ISSF World Championship held in Baku for the first time is the biggest event in this sport since 2018. It is attended by up to 2,000 athletes and representatives from more than 100 countries.
