The 27-year-old sport shooter spoke about the competition between his opponent in the individual bout, Serbian Damir Mikec, who won a silver medal: "In such tournaments, there are always dangerous opponents. The most important thing in shooting competitions is self-control and concentration. So I focused on myself. I didn't think about anyone and claimed the victory."
Zhang Bowen also shared his thoughts on winning a license for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games to be held in Paris: "Of course, we are very happy about it. I am very glad that I could do something for my country. I will do my best to do well in the Olympics. In addition to my individual achievement, I also think about the team".
