Idman.biz reports that this was said by Murad Sadigov, newly recruited to the academic rowing national team, in the press service of the Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation.
He said that he started training in order to prepare for future competitions: "The base in Mingechevir is very good. It is possible to train here in all seasons of the year, even in winter. Both the area is large and the gyms are big. Accordingly, our exercises are held at a high level. There are world-class rowers that I look up to. I also watch their training continuously. International competitions will start soon. I want to succeed and win."
It should be noted that Vladimir Morozov, a Ukrainian specialist, has been appointed head coach of the Azerbaijani national team in academic rowing.
