The Azerbaijan national team has signed a record in the history of group movements of rhythmic gymnastics.
This happened at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games, Idman.biz reports.
The "five" consisting of Zeyneb Hummatova, Laman Alimuradova, Darya Sorokina, Gullu Aghalarzade and Yelizaveta Luzan took the 5th place in the final round that ended today. This is the best result of Azerbaijani gymnasts in group exercises at the Olympics.
Our group team participated in the Games for the 3rd time. Azerbaijan team was 7th in Beijing 2008 and 10th in Tokyo 2020.
