The 11th Turkic States Universiade held in Turkestan province of Kazakhstan has been concluded.
Idman.biz reports that Azerbaijani athletes won a total of 26 medals in this competition.
The Azerbaijani team won 7 gold, 7 silver and 12 bronze medals.
The closing ceremony of the Turkic States Universiade was held today. Athletes from participating countries, including representatives of Azerbaijan, took part in the event. At the ceremony, the baton of the competition was ceremoniously handed over to Kyrgyzstan.
It should be noted that Azerbaijan was represented by a total of 38 athletes in 4 sports - table tennis, judo, Greco-Roman wrestling and freestyle wrestling.
