President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with President of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) Mohammed Ben Sulayem on September 26.
As reported by İdman.Biz, citing AZERTAC, the meeting highlighted the high level of organisation of the Formula 1 races in Baku, as in previous years.
The importance of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in promoting the country's tourism potential was also emphasised during the talks.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the FIA's cooperation with the Azerbaijan Automobile Federation and local clubs.
Prospects for the further development of the partnership were also discussed during the meeting.
