The seventh meeting of youth and sports ministers of the Organization of Turkic States was held in Basgal village of Ismayilli district.

The minister spoke about the latest innovations implemented within the framework of the cooperation of the Turkic States and the contributions made by the cooperation to the field of youth and sports.
During the speeches, the ministers congratulated Azerbaijan on November 8 - Victory Day and November 9 - National Flag Day. During the speeches, the ministers declared that they are committed to the joint Turkish youth and sports agenda and emphasized the importance of the work done in this direction in accordance with the TDT (Turkic States Organisation) cooperation framework. A number of important decisions were made at the meeting.
A day before the meeting of the ministers, the VII Meeting of the Youth and Sports Working Group of the Organization of Turkic States was held. The main purpose of the meeting was to discuss the next stages of new initiatives in the field of youth and sports. The main goals of the Youth Agenda of the Turkic States Organisation and the agenda of the meeting were discussed.
The meeting participants watched the final matches of the "International Badminton Tournament of Turkic-Speaking States" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev in Shamakhi, and also participated in the awarding ceremony of the winners.
