The Azerbaijan Carp Fishing Championship will be held under the joint organization of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Azerbaijan Aquatic Sports Federation (ASF) and the Baku Fishermen and Underwater Hunters Club.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the Azerbaijan Aquatic Sports Federation announced details of the upcoming competition.
The championship will take place from September 4 to 6 at Chukhuryurd Lake in the village of the same name in Azerbaijan's Shamakhi district.
Participants will compete in accordance with the established regulations, with the winners and medalists of the Azerbaijan Championship to be determined based on the final results.
The top performers will receive medals and other prizes at the conclusion of the competition.
Carp fishing is a competitive form of angling focused on catching carp using specialized techniques. The discipline requires not only fishing skills but also technical preparation, tactical decision-making and patience.
