The alpagut training hall at the Aghdam Olympic Sports Complex has officially reopened following renovation work.
As reported by İdman.Biz, citing the Azerbaijan Alpagut Federation, the reopening ceremony began with the performance of Azerbaijan's national anthem.
The event was attended by Azerbaijan Alpagut Federation Vice-President Rafiq Gasimov, head of the federation's Karabakh Regional Representation Kenan Guliyev, and athletes.
The renovated facility will provide a training venue for alpagut practitioners in the region, contributing to the development of the traditional Azerbaijani martial art.
The Aghdam Olympic Sports Complex is also scheduled to host the Karabakh Open Tournament on October 25. The competition will be dedicated to the memory of Lieutenant Sarvan Goyushov, who was killed in military service.
