Azerbaijan and SportAccord have discussed the development of cooperation and the organization of major international sporting events.
As reported by İdman.Biz, citing the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Minister Farid Gayibov received SportAccord President Ugur Erdener.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on organizing international sporting events in Azerbaijan, further developing cooperation between the country and SportAccord, and other issues of mutual interest.
The parties also discussed preparations for the SportAccord World Sport & Business Summit, which will be held in Baku next year. Particular attention was paid to ensuring the event is organized at a high level and to the work to be carried out in the coming period.
The meeting was also attended by Elnur Mammadov, head of the Sports Department at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Baku City Circuit Operations Company Executive Director Magsud Farzullayev, and SportAccord Executive Director Kelly Fairweather.
