Idman.biz reports that Khayal Janiyev, an Azerbaijani mixed martial arts fighter, said this after winning the WMC championship title in Chelyabinsk, Russia.
He commented on his victory over Iranian Moktab Taravati in the main fight of the "Adrenaline" tournament for the title of world champion: "I wanted to finish the fight ahead of time and please the audience with a nice victory and a knockout. But I'm also happy that I won by the judges' decision."
Janiyev stated that Chelyabinsk needs such tournaments: "I thank all the organizers for returning professional muay thai to the city."
