Azerbaijani MMA fighter Vugar Karamov has secured a victory at the Super RIZIN.5 event in Japan.
İdman.Biz reports that the 33-year-old faced Japan's Ryo Takagi in a featherweight bout contested at the 66 kg limit.
The fight took place at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka as part of the Super RIZIN.5 card.

Karamov defeated Takagi by unanimous decision after three rounds, with the judges scoring the bout 29-28, 30-27 and 30-27 in favour of the Azerbaijani fighter.
The bout was a regular RIZIN MMA contest and was not for a championship title or part of a tournament final.
The victory marked another successful appearance for Karamov in the Japanese promotion, where he has established himself as one of the notable fighters in the featherweight division.
