Surat Garayev: “He “lost” both his stance and his leg”

"The fight went well."

It was told by Azerbaijani kickboxer Surat Garayev to Idman.biz.

He spoke about his last fight in the Sensi-26 league. Garayev said that being a boxer helped him in the fight against Oli Yves Roland from Ivory Coast in Plovdiv: “Although my opponent was strong, I came out with heart and desire. I wanted to win. I won thanks to this desire. As soon as the fight started, my opponent started hitting my legs, wanting me to get my legs free first. However, after I shook him off with my hands, he “lost” both his stance and his leg. Thus, the fight turned in our favor and I won."

The athlete said that his next fight will be in boxing: "My next fight will be on July 6 in Germany. For now, we are resting. We will start training on May 26. I will prepare for the national team. The training will be mainly in Baku. We also have the World Cup in boxing in July. We will prepare with all our might for both boxing and our professional kickboxing fight".

Surat Garayev's opponent in the fight to be held in Germany will be 34-year-old Colombian boxer Davis Casseres.
