Kickboxer Tulin Alakbarova and her student have been detained by police on suspicion of robbery.
Idman.Biz reports, citing Qafqazinfo, that the incident took place in the Absheron district.
They are suspected of injuring a person born in 2004 with a sharp object on December 4 and stealing 110 AZN from them.
During police operations, 21-year-old Tulin Alakbarova and 19-year-old Abbas Rahimli were arrested.
Investigations into the case are ongoing.
It is noted that Alakbarova was brought to court several months ago for hooliganism and sentenced to six months of restricted freedom. She is currently under electronic monitoring.
