World and European kickboxing champion Eduard Mammadov won two gold medals at the WAKO World Championship held in Abu Dhabi.
According to Idman.Biz, he defeated all his opponents in the 63 kg “Master Class” category, taking first place in both the “Light Contact” and “Kick Light” events.
Mammadov defeated representatives from Great Britain, Portugal, and Italy in “Light Contact” and athletes from Sweden, Canada, and Italy in “Kick Light.”
It is worth noting that with this achievement, Eduard Mammadov—head of the Sports-Training Department of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Internal Affairs Sports Society, police lieutenant colonel, and vice-president of the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation—has won the WAKO World Championship title for the 10th time overall.
