Three-time world karate champion Irina Zaretska continues to top the world rankings in her category.
The Azerbaijani national team member, who competes in the 68 kg weight class, currently holds 6,645 points, Idman.biz reports.
After returning from maternity leave, Zaretska took part in the Premier League stage in Cairo. Although she didn't make it to the quarterfinals, the tournament still earned her 150 points.
The star athlete is now preparing for the next Premier League event, which will kick off on May 30 in Rabat, Morocco.
