The upcoming Judo World Championship in Budapest, Hungary, will feature athletes from 92 countries.
The host nation will field a full team with 21 Hungarian judokas competing on the tatami, Idman.biz reports.
The International Judo Federation (IJF) team includes 20 athletes, while Brazil, Japan, France, Italy, Mongolia, and Uzbekistan will each send 18 participants.
The most crowded weight category will be the 66 kg division, with 55 judokas competing.
The championship runs from June 13 to 19. Azerbaijan will be represented by 13 judokas, including Olympic and world champions Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) and Zelym Kotsoiev (100 kg). Other team members are Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg), Ruslan Pashayev (66 kg), Rashid Mammadaliyev (73 kg), Zelim Tckaev (81 kg), Eljan Hajiyev (90 kg), Vugar Talibov (90 kg), Ushangi Kokauri (+100 kg), Leyla Aliyeva (48 kg), Konul Aliyeva (48 kg), Gultaj Mammadaliyeva (52 kg), and Fidan Alizada (57 kg).
