Idman.biz reports that Eldar Safarov, the coach of Azerbaijan's men's gymnastics team, said this to journalists during an open practice before the World Cup in gymnastics to be held in Baku.
He said that this is the third round of the World Cup in which the team will participate: "Previously, Nikita Simonov won a gold medal in hoops at the competition held in Germany. We believe in our athletes this time as well. We do our best to achieve high results in this competition. Athletes from 67 countries will compete in the World Cup. Therefore, it will be a tough race. But we believe that everything will be fine. We hope that Nikita Simonov will secure a license in hoops. The World Cup will be concluded in Doha."
It should be noted that the competition, which will be represented by 5 gymnasts, will start on March 7.
