The Azerbaijan gymnastics team is preparing for the first tournament of the year.
Idman.biz reports that the national team will be represented by 6 gymnasts, 4 men and 2 women, at the world championship to be held in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, on February 15-18.
Nikita Simonov, Ivan Tikhonov, Rasul Ahmadzada, Murad Agharzayev, Nazenin Teymurova and Samira Kahramanova will perform in the individual competition.
It should be noted that the license competition will be the first stage of the World Cup series.
