Under the leadership of Farid Gayibov, President of European Gymnastics (EG), the next Executive Committee meeting was held at the headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland.
The event included decisions on the hosting of next year's European Championships and other competitions, along with discussions on various issues, Idman.biz reports.
The right to host the 2026 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship was awarded to Varna, Bulgaria. The competition will take place from May 27 to 31.
The European Trampoline Gymnastics Championship will be held in Portimao, Portugal, from April 8 to 12. The European Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup will again be hosted in Baku from April 30 to May 3.
Decisions were also made about the organization of other tournaments: the 2027 European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship, the 2027 Age Group and Acrobatic European Championships, the 2027 U-15 Aerobic Gymnastics European Championship, the 2028 Rhythmic and Trampoline Gymnastics European Championships, the 2028 Gym for Life Challenge, EUROGYM 2028, and the Golden Age Gym Festival 2028.
The next Executive Committee meeting will take place on October 12-13 this year in Zurich, Switzerland.
