“B license coaching courses for futsal will be organized in Azerbaijan.”
This was stated to Report by Aslan Karimov, head of AFFA’s Education Department, Idman.biz reports.
The official noted that they have applied to UEFA regarding this project:
“We are planning to conduct B license coaching courses for futsal in Azerbaijan. We sent an application to UEFA and received a positive response. However, in order to organize the courses properly, we will need to invite an expert from abroad. This is necessary to ensure the course structure fully aligns with UEFA standards. Local specialists will also participate in the seminar. The federation's leadership has already expressed a positive opinion on the matter.”
He added that the course is planned for 2026:
“I can’t give an exact date, but the lessons might start in January or February. We are considering bringing in a specialist from a post-Soviet country, as our futsal coaches prefer education in Russian. With this in mind, we aim to ensure a high-quality outcome.”
