George Russell to start from pole at Canadian Grand Prix

The qualifying session for the Canadian Grand Prix has concluded with George Russell claiming pole position.

Idman.biz reports that the Mercedes driver set the fastest time in qualifying and will lead the grid at Sunday’s main race in Montreal.

The British driver will be followed by Max Verstappen (Red Bull) in second place and Oscar Piastri (McLaren) in third.
Despite missing out on pole, Piastri currently leads the Drivers' Championship standings with 186 points after nine rounds of the season.

All eyes will be on Circuit Gilles Villeneuve as the drivers prepare for what promises to be another thrilling race in the 2025 Formula 1 season.
