Preparations are well underway for the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025, set to take place this September in Baku.
Two new grandstands will be installed around the Baku City Circuit this year. Due to growing interest from both local and international fans, the total seating capacity in the grandstands will increase by 1,500, pushing the overall number past 20,000, Idman.biz reports.
Installation of the grandstands has already begun, reflecting the strong demand for live viewing of the event.
For comparison, last year’s Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix welcomed over 76,000 spectators to the grandstands over four days.
As part of the preparation works, temporary restrictions will be implemented in certain parts of the Baku Seaside Boulevard. Organizers kindly ask for understanding from both residents and visitors during this period.
Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix 2025 will take place on September 19–21.
