The International Automobile Federation (FIA) has approved the 2027 Formula 2 calendar, with the Baku City Circuit once again included in the championship.
As reported by İdman.Biz, the Formula 2 races in Baku will be held as part of the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend, scheduled for September 24-26, 2027.
The Azerbaijan round will complete a run of three race weekends in September. Before heading to Baku, the championship will visit Monza and Madrid.
The 2027 Formula 2 calendar features a total of 14 rounds across four continents. The season will begin in March in Sakhir, Bahrain, and conclude in December at Yas Island in the United Arab Emirates.
Istanbul and Mexico City are the two new additions to the calendar, with both set to host Formula 2 races in October. Montreal, which staged its first Formula 2 round in 2026, also retains its place on the schedule.
Formula 2 rounds are held as part of Formula 1 Grand Prix weekends.
