Nearly 300 media representatives covered 10th Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Nearly 300 local and international media representatives, including journalists, photographers and production crews from some of the world's leading media organisations, covered the 10th Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix directly from Baku.

As reported by İdman.Biz, the Baku City Circuit Operations Company announced the figures following this year's race weekend.

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix was broadcast by 56 international television channels and numerous global platforms, including Sky Sports, ESPN, Canal+, beIN Sports, Apple TV, Tencent, TV Globo and DAZN.

As in previous years, the production team behind Netflix's popular Formula 1 series Drive to Survive was also in Baku to film material for the show.

International media coverage during Grand Prix week extended beyond the action on the Baku City Circuit. Foreign journalists also produced reports showcasing Azerbaijan's culture and national traditions.

A special media tour was organised for international journalists, giving them an opportunity to learn more about the country's cultural heritage.

ServusTV, Formula 1's official broadcaster in Austria, produced a special feature on Baku highlighting Azerbaijani national cuisine, traditional music and musical instruments.

British broadcaster Sky Sports, meanwhile, prepared a separate feature dedicated to Azerbaijani carpet weaving, introducing its audience to one of the country's ancient traditional arts.

A Media Centre meeting the requirements of the FIA was set up for accredited media representatives. It provided journalists with dedicated working areas, the necessary technical facilities and a press conference room.
