Idman.biz reports that these words were said by Ali Khalilov, a workforce specialist at the Baku City Circuit Operations Company.
He stated that a record number of volunteers applied for the race: “Within just 48 hours, more than thirty-one thousand candidates registered. This was a record result both for our program and for the overall volunteer movement. After the registration process ended, our professional team reviewed the results. Following that, the interview phase began. Three weeks have passed since the start of the interviews. Already more than 7,000 candidates have participated in the interview stage. The process will continue in the coming weeks. Afterwards, the training sessions will begin.”
The Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix will take place from September 19 to 21.
