Neftchi intends to strengthen its squad with another midfielder.
Idman.biz, citing Sport24.az, reports that the “Neftchi” are considering inviting English player Josh Dasilva to Azerbaijan.
Negotiations are currently in the initial stage. The final decision will depend on whether the player wants to move from England to the Azerbaijan Premier League.
Dasilva is a product of Arsenal’s academy. He has played for Brentford since 2018, contributing to the club’s successes. Currently a free agent, the player has recently struggled with injuries and last appeared in an official match in January 2024 against Tottenham in a league game.
