“Sabah” has a good chance of defeating Bulgarian side Levski in the UEFA Conference League third qualifying round return leg.
This was stated by former Azerbaijan national team coach Arif Asadov in an interview with Report news agency, Idman.biz reports.
The 54-year-old expert shared his thoughts on today’s match between the teams: “Both our representative and the opponent have a chance to reach the play-offs. ‘Sabah’ lost in the away game due to a goal conceded in the last minute. We should note that the team performs better at home, in front of their fans. I can even say that as time passes, their game quality improves. Considering all this, ‘Sabah’ has a good chance of overcoming the Bulgarian club.”
Asadov added that Levski’s game plan has both positive and negative aspects: “Of course, the coaching staff has analyzed all the details and communicated them to the players. I believe the chances of qualifying for the play-offs are equal.”
The “Sabah” vs. “Levski” match will kick off today at 20:00. In the first away game, the Azerbaijani side lost 1-0.
