“The opponent is a very good team, but they’re not unbeatable.”
According to Idman.biz, these words were said by former Sabah head coach Ramin Guliyev in a statement to Sport24.az.
The specialist shared his thoughts on Sabah’s 1-0 defeat to Bulgarian side Levski in the first leg of the UEFA Conference League third qualifying round: “We were all expecting a draw, but a moment of lost focus led to the goal. However, I believe we’ll play more attentively, precisely, and responsibly at home. If we play attacking football at home, we’ll be the side to advance. The chances are equal. The players just need to understand the importance of this game and prepare better.”
The match between Levski and Sabah ended in a 1-0 win for the home side. The second leg will take place on August 14.
