Patrick Andrade taken to court by Partizan

Former Qarabag midfielder Patrick Andrade is facing legal action from Serbian club Partizan, which has filed a complaint against him with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

Idman.biz, citing Teleqraf, reports that the appeal was submitted to CAS in 2024, with the hearing taking place on June 17. However, the reason behind the complaint and the court's ruling have not been disclosed.

Andrade first joined Qarabag on August 28, 2020, and played until July 1, 2022. He then moved to Partizan as a free agent, featuring in 26 matches during the 2022/2023 season, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists.

The Cape Verde international returned to Qarabag on July 15, 2023, signing a two-year contract. On June 11, 2025, it was officially announced that his contract would not be extended. The 32-year-old is currently without a club.
