Sabah captain Stas Pokatilov has attracted attention with his individual performances in the UEFA Champions League league phase.
As reported by İdman.Biz, citing UEFA's official statistics, the 33-year-old goalkeeper has made 22 saves across four matches, placing him second in the competition in this category.
The Kazakhstan international trails only Club Brugge goalkeeper Yann Sommer, who leads the rankings with 27 saves.
Third place is shared by Slovan Bratislava goalkeeper Dominik Takac and Feyenoord's Tjark Ernst, both of whom have recorded 20 saves.
Pokatilov most recently demonstrated his goalkeeping abilities against Norwegian side Viking. He saved a penalty during the match, although the ball eventually crossed the line following a rebound.
Despite his efforts, Sabah suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat to Viking in their fourth Champions League fixture.
The Azerbaijani champions had previously lost to Manchester United (0-4) and Borussia Dortmund (1-2), while securing a 2-0 victory over Slavia Prague.
After four rounds, Sabah have collected three points and will next face Spanish giants Barcelona at the Baku Olympic Stadium on November 25.
