Sabail PFK and the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription organized an event for the children of martyrs on the eve of June 1 - International Children's Day.
The meeting was held at the ASCO Arena within the framework of Jalal Gurbanov's “My Father is a Hero” project, Idman.biz reports.
The official part of the event was addressed by Firuz Abdulla, Executive Director of “Sabail”, Lieutenant Colonel Fuzuli Ismayilov, Head of the Pre-Conscription Preparation Department of the State Service, and Parviz Sadraddinov, Head of the Public Affairs and International Relations Department.
During the speeches, detailed information was provided about the Patriotic War, the restoration of Azerbaijan's sovereignty, the heroism of the martyrs who wrote history, and other important issues.
After the official part, the children of the martyrs watched the training of the Sabail substitute team at the stadium, played football with them, and then had lunch with the players.
At the end of the event, the team's players - Rufat Abdullazade, Mert Chelik, Nijat Mammadzade, Suleyman Allush and Innocent Nshuti - presented gifts to the children of the martyrs and took a commemorative photo with them.
