“I want to take a break from football for a while.”
This was stated by Shahin Diniyev, the former head coach of Sabail, in an interview with Idman.biz.
The 58-year-old expert resigned following a 0:1 defeat against Kapaz in the XII round of the Misli Premier League. He mentioned his intention to take some time off before returning to lead another club: “Am I considering retiring? I’m not 80; I’m 58. After a bit of rest, I’ll decide on new beginnings.”
Under Diniyev's leadership, Sabail collected 7 points in 12 matches in the Azerbaijani championship this season.
