Azerbaijani national team player Mahir Emreli made an impressive debut in the German Cup, scoring his first goal for Nuremberg in their second-round match against Hoffenheim.
According to Idman.biz, Emreli’s goal came in the 47th minute, leveling the score at 1-1.
Despite his efforts, Nuremberg couldn’t hold on, ultimately losing 1-2 and exiting the cup competition. Emreli played 82 minutes in the game.
This goal adds to Emreli’s record of scoring in domestic cup competitions across four different countries: Azerbaijan, Poland, Croatia, and now Germany.
