Big advantage of Ronaldo the all-time ranking for the most prolific international goal-scorers in a single calendar year have been announced.
Idman.biz reports that goals scored in national team and club tournaments are taken into account in the list of IFFHS.
The table includes those who scored at least 20 goals. This has been recorded 33 times so far.
The world record belongs to Cristiano Ronaldo. He stood out 32 times in 2017. The Portuguese once again managed to score 25 goals. In total, only 5 times a football player found his way to the opponent's goal 25 times during the year.
It should be noted that Romelu Lukaku, the winner of the 2023 IFFHS international goal-scorer award, entered the ranking due to his great last year’s performance. He took 15th place in the historical chart.
