Trabzonspor forward Mohamed Salah has been banned from driving in the United Kingdom for six months.
As reported by İdman.Biz, citing The Independent, the case relates to an incident in Wilmslow, Cheshire, on March 27. A Rolls-Royce belonging to Salah was caught by a speed camera travelling at 36 mph in a 30 mph zone.
According to court documents, Salah failed to provide police with information about who was driving the vehicle at the time. The footballer did not respond to a notice sent by Cheshire Police and did not enter a plea to the charge.
As a result, the 34-year-old was found guilty of failing to provide the information required to identify the driver. The court imposed a six-month driving ban and ordered Salah to pay £1,044, approximately 2,374 AZN.
The incident occurred on March 27, three days after Salah announced that he would leave Liverpool. The Egyptian forward departed the English club after the 2025/26 season and subsequently joined Turkish side Trabzonspor.
