Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois believes the club must sign two high-level defenders during the winter transfer window.
According to Idman.biz, referencing El Nacional, the 33-year-old Belgian has communicated this to the club’s management.
He thinks that without these signings, Madrid will encounter the same problems at the end of the season as they did in the previous campaign.
Courtois considers Real Madrid’s squad to be unbalanced in defense and in need of strengthening.
The priority options for the club’s management are two central defenders – Ibrahima Konate from Liverpool and Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace.
After 15 rounds, Real Madrid sit second in the La Liga standings, while in the Champions League the team ranks fifth in the overall stage.
