French club Lille has extended the contract of 18-year-old academy graduate Ayoub Buadi.
According to Idman.Biz, citing the club’s official press service, the new agreement with the midfielder runs until summer 2029. His previous contract was set to expire in 2027.
This season, the defensive midfielder has played in 18 matches for Lille in Ligue 1 and the UEFA Europa League, registering one assist. Overall, he has accumulated 72 appearances for Lille’s senior team and four assists, in addition to representing France at youth levels.
Earlier reports indicated that French champions PSG have shown interest in Buadi, while rumors have also linked him with a potential move to London’s Chelsea.
