The Azerbaijan national football team is set to climb the FIFA rankings, reports Idman.Biz, citing sport24.az.
This improvement comes after the national teams’ matches in October.
A four-place drop by the Togo national team allowed Azerbaijan to advance by one position. Currently holding 1,142.25 points, Azerbaijan will be ranked 123rd in the latest list, up from 124th last month, when the team had 1,148.09 points.
Earlier this month, Azerbaijan lost 0:3 to France and 1:2 to Ukraine in the 2026 World Cup qualifying matches.
